Bus Buffs' Bonus

A collection of vintage and rare buses and coaches from Three Counties Bus and Commercial Vehicle Museum visited the Museum on Sunday the 25th April 2010.

The visit was part of National Bus Day,  the annual celebration of Britain's favourite public transport vehicle. Visitors were treated with eight fine examples of British bus engineering superbly restored by their enthusiastic owners . Click on 'read more' to see some photos taken on the day.

Long and Winding Path

The Long and Winding Path to Our Door

Museum staff and volunteers have been working hard through the winter to build a new path from the Museum entrance up to the front door of the Farm House. Visitors to the Museum no longer need to contend with pot-holes and puddles now that the new smooth block-work path is in place.

20,000 Visitors This Year

We recently welcomed our 20,000th visitor of the year which is a new record for the museum. Michael Simpson, a six year old pupil at one of the first schools in Milton Keynes, was visiting the museum as part of an organised school visit. All of the pupils from the school received a special certificate to mark the occasion. You can read more about this in a report from the Milton Keynes Citizen newspaper.
