That innovative and controversial icon of the 70's, the Austin Allegro motor car, will be on display on Sunday the 16th May 2010 when the Allegro Club International hold thier National Event at the Museum.

A number of rare and interesting Allegro models will be on show. Some of us will have fond memories of  the 'Quartic' steering wheel and futuristic 'Hydragas' suspension that characterised a British Car industry proud of traditional marks like Austin.
